The “Street” front splitter is made from ¼” Aluminum Composite Material (ACM). ACM is used for its high quality smooth finish and superior rigidity compared to ABS Plastic. The splitter has vertical trim piece that lowers the splitter 1.5” to help reduce the amount of air going under the car and the splitter mounts with custom spacers, and nyloc nuts. With the new updated design there are no exposed fasteners for a cleaner appearance. Street versions do NOT need support rods, but they can of course be added for the aesthetic.
